Canada House

As part of the recent refurbishment of Canada House we recently Built and installed 2 scaled airplane wings into the Bar/Restaurant. The wings were inspired by a ‘De Havilland Beaver’ and a ‘Bristol Bulldog’. We drew the wings in 3d for approval, then CNC machined FR plywood bulkheads. This was clad in 0.5mm aluminum and sprayed to finish. The flaps were adjustable and the signal lights were working LED’s. The wings were suspended using wire rope, turnbuckles and eyebolts. The whole construction was therefore fire retardant.
